FOCUS AREA 1: PROGRAMME AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Expanded Public Works Programme and other Public Employment Programmes are growing rapidly and it continues to provide income safety net for productive work all over the country. All of the EPWP have to be properly planned, implemented and monitored to ensure that they comply with the statutory requirements. This motivated CTC College to become a community development and training agency with a broader objective of assisting South African communities and other social partners to fight the triple challenges of poverty, unemployment and inequality.
CTC College’s Programme and Project Management services entail supporting community development initiatives that primarily facilitate job creation, poverty eradication, community enterprise support and community empowerment. These services are rendered with a deliberate effort to support and contribute to the realisation of the national development priority outcome
areas, particularly the following:

  • Outcome 1: Improved quality of basic education.
  • Outcome 2: A long and healthy life for all South Africans.
  • Outcome 4: Decent employment through inclusive economic growth.
  • Outcome 5: A skilled and capable workforce to support an inclusive growth path.
  • Outcome 7: Vibrant, equitable and sustainable rural communities and food security for all.
  • Outcome 8: For sustainable human settlements and improved quality of household life.
  • Outcome 10: Protect and enhance our environmental assets and natural resources.
  • Outcome 12: An efficient, effective and development-orientated public service.
